Heat rash: Heat rash occurs in the folds of the skin such as waist, underarms, etc.   Sun poisoning or sensitivity is just that, more related to direct contact with sunshine.

Photosensitivity: It sounds like you're describing a photosensitivity, which could be more than a simple sunburn. If you were on medication when u were 'over exposed' to the sun like that, this could explain the rash appearance. The good thing about the skin is it regenerates quite quickly, so hopefully the sun damage will disappear in a couple weeks. See a dermatologist if you need more help or try posting photos.

Sunburn: Yes it can start as a  rash and get itchy/burning, use good sunscreen cream, reapply every 2-3 hours, stay in the shades, try to avoid sun exposure 10 am - 4 pm, if your skin is really sensitive, enjoy the beach otherwise

All quite different.: Heat rash (or prickly heat, or miliaria) is the rash produced when heat causes your sweat glands to plug up. Heat stroke is the overheating of your entire body when you spend too much time in a hot environment, become dehydrated, and can't produce enough sweat to cool your body. Sun poisoning is just another name for a bad sunburn.

Viral infection: What you described is more consistent with a viral infection than sun poisoning, if you do not have any evidence of a sun burn.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

Cool compress,aspiri: For sun poisoning lower temperature pf skin with cool compresses and aloe bear. For the fever and muscle aches lower the body temperature with Aspirin or non steroidal antifinflammatories such as allege or motrin. If the temperature is high you amy need to be seen in emergency room for treatment and monitoring.

Sunscreen: "sun poisoning" is just severe sunburn. It should be treated with cool washcloths applied as often as feasible, and Ibuprofen or a similar anti-inflammatory for the pain and inflammation. You can prevent it by applying a good broad-spectrum sunscreen lotion every day, and reapplying it frequently while you are working in the sun.

See You Doctor: You need to have these evaluated and treated since these are severe burns and it sounds as if they may be 2nd or possibly 3rd degree burns needing antibiotic treatment as well as pain management.
