: Injured nerve roots in the neck do heal in about 6-12 weeks after conservative treatment such as physical therapy, rest from strain and taking anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen or naproxen.

Accepted Answer

Decompression: Non surgical lumbar decompression is a form of traction therapy. In the lumbar area this is accomplished  by pulling a pelvic harness in opposite direction away from a thoracic harness. Your neck  or cervical area should not be affected.

Yes and yes: Transverse cervical nerve also called anterior cutaneous nerve of neck - innervates (sensory innervation)  anterior region of neck (c2 and c3) up to the lower border of the lower jaw.

Depends: If your symptoms/signs are severe enough or have been going on for a while and if you are healthy, a neurosurgeon may decide it is advisable to operate sooner.  On the other hand, many people with pinched nerves are able to be treated conservatively with oral antiinflammatories and/or steroids (oral or injected).  Discuss your options with your doctor and/or consult a neurosurgeon.

Radiculopathy and ne: It seem you have failed the standard treatments. Neuromodulation would be the next option and this could be Peripheral or Spinal. Have a chat with your doctor.

Not permanent: Pain management is just that.  It is a way to manage, or lessen the pain.  Hopefully you make it bearable, or, as i tell my patients, it is intended to make you better able to strengthen the muscles, increase your activity, and make your eventual surgery much more effective.  The only way to cure your pain is through surgery.

Physical Therapy: Conservative approach is the mainstay of treatment.
Avoiding jerking movements, Repeated neck movements and when there is actual flare ups of the inflammation wearing of  Cervical Collar also helps.

Accepted Answer

Not so usual: a spot for that. It is a common urinary tract infection that is well treated with ampicillan or amoxicillan generally. Would not expect a bacterial infection in the cervix and would expect signs of infection (red, sore, hot, fever, chills, sweats) if there is one.
