Maybe: It sounds like you may have patellar tendinitis one on side. This may reflect a tightness or weakness in your hips or hamstrings or other subtle anatomic variant that makes you predisposed. 
Treatment is a period of rest, appropriate stretching, ice, anti-inflammatories, and eccentric strengthening directed by a trainer or therapis. Other modalities, such as ultrasound, may help. See a doctor.

Inflammation,: After an usual form of exercise, joints can become inflamed.  This can happen when we engage in activities that use our muscles and joints in ways that we don't normally use them.  Rest, ibuprofen or tylenol, (acetaminophen) ice or heat, is a reasonable plan for now.  If you have significant swelling, or fever, or your knee gives way, see somebody as soon as possible. Regular skating when better, can prevent this

Probable knee injury: If the knee symptoms continue, you should obtain an orthodaedic consultation.  Your prior knee injury may have caused an injury which has been aggravated by your roller skating.  Until you find out the cause of these symptoms I would not suggest continuing sports activities.

Overuse, injury or other factors may lead to a condition known as chondromalacia patella — a general term indicating damage to the cartilage under your kneecap. A more accurate term for chondromalacia patella is patellofemoral pain syndrome.

"R.I.C.E.": Sprains are best treated with rest, ice, compression, and elevation. Inner knee pain can be a sign of a mcl (medial collateral ligament) sprain, which tends to do well with conservative non-surgical care.  Persistent pain can be a sign of a torn medial meniscus, the shock absorber of the knee, so any knee pain lasting more than a month to 6 weeks should be checked out with an orthopedic surgeon.

This is a progressive activity to identify strength and weaknesses and provide function improvement while returning to activity and preventing recurrence.

See your doc again: While it is not uncommon to continue to have pain 6 weeks after a fracture, it is important to follow-up with your physician and discuss why you are still hurting. It may be due to typical post-injury tendonitis/weakness/muscle spasm or there could be delayed or incorrect healing. A repeat xray and examination is recommended.
