Yes it can: HPV is associated with Bowen's disease of the penis (squamous cell carcinoma), more common in uncircumcised males. It is also seen in anal and esophageal cancer.

HPV CIN 1: Please speak with your doctor.  Sounds like you should have colposcopy and a biopsy.  Left untreated these lesions can sometimes worsen and become hi grade lesions that could lead to cervical cancer.  Again, see your doctor and see what they advise.

Not cancer yet: It may simply need to be followed, or you may be a candidate for biopsy, laser, excision. Be sure to keep in touch with your physician on this. Secretory endometrium is simply a phase that you go through each month. I'm glad you're staying proactive and health-conscious.

when can we expect oral hpv tests? yes there is no treatment but still if there was an efficient test people with high risk strains could be more aware and monitoring better incase it evolves to cancer?

: It isn't certain such testing ever will be routinely available or recommended, or that it would help prevent cancer. A big problem is that a negative test never is proof HPV is absent. Only one HPV type (HPV16) really is important as a cause of pharyngeal cancer. Vaccination probably is the best option. Fortunately, although pharyngeal cancer due to HPV is rising, it remains rare.

Low risk: Women with hpv and ignore it and go for years without surveillance get cancer.  Get it checked the sooner the better.  If you are negative great if not this is an issue that can be helped without leading to cervical cancer.

Most likely not: The overwhelming majority of cervical cancers are caused by HPV, but rarely they are not. Your chances are very low with your age and HPV status, but please follow your OB/Gyn's recommendations for continued screening if indicated.

Get regular followup: If you get normal follow up with your doctor and keep your appointments for treatment and surveillance for abnormal pap smears, you can greatly reduce your chances of ever getting cervical cancer.

: Yes and no. These problems are caused almost entirely by HPV. However, the HPV test misses some infections -- so a negative test result doesn't mean you do not have HPV.

: Nearly 100% of cases are cured with nothing more than removing the involved tissue in the doctor's office.
