No: Call your physician and ask for a tablet of fuuconazole. Additionally a vinegar and water douche or water and bicarbonte douche will relieve your symptoms.

Yeast treatment: Maybe it isn't a yeast infection. The main vaginal yeast symptoms are itching and only scant discharge. If you have more discharge or odor, it's probably not yeast. Also, about 10% of cases are due to types of candida that don't respond to fluconazole or other "azole" drugs; alternate treatment is needed. See your doctor to confirm the diagnosis and get proper treatment. Good luck.

Although yeast infections may spread from one sexual partner to the other, it's rare and in vast majority of women who have recurrent yeast infections, it has nothing to do with male partner, yeast infections primarily occur in uncircumcised men and common in diabetics. Proper hygiene and topical/oral antifungals used to treat.
