Time for GYN check: It it not uncommon for young women your age to have a mucoid discharge , which may infact be sexual mucous; however, it is adviseable to get a feamle examination and a culture of the discharge by your gyn to rule out infection.

i used a vaginal suppository to treat a yeast infection and it was the first time putting something up the canal. its days later and it feels like something is stuck and theres blood mixed with the medication leaking out. is it normal?

: No this is not normal. Abnormal vaginal discharge usually is caused by problems other than yeast, and blood in the discharge also doesn't go along with yeast. Any and all unexplained vaginal bleeding needs in person medical attention. See a doctor forevaluation, including STD testing. Good luck.

i took monistat 1 (tioconazole) yesterday to treat a yeast infection. i had pink discharge yesterday and today i am spotting blood is this normal ?

Other problem? STD?: Vaginal yeast usually doesn't bleed or cause pink discharge, both of which suggest the diagnosis is wrong, or that you also have something else. At your age, the main causes of vaginal bleeding and discharge are STDs, especially gonorrhea or chlamydia. There are several other possibilities too, and all new or abnormal, vaginal discharge or bleeding needs professional exam. See your doctor ASAP.

Occasionally: the vaginal tissues can become raw with a small amount of blood. However, in general bleeding isn't considered one of the sx's of yeast infections.

Very unusual: Usually only people who are immunocompromised (chemo therapy patients, for example) have blood borne yeast infections.  The average person absolutely does not despite many online reports.

Blood Test Needed: I am sorry but we may disappoint here. Having not seen your skin at the time of the exam i cannot comment. But, you can and should have the herpes blood tests to make sure you truly are infected or not.

Re-check with doctor: Yeast infections don't bleed, or only very rarely -- and only if the yeast is especially severe, with open sores. So the blood probably is unrelated to your yeast infection, assuming the yeast diagnosis is correct. You might recheck with your doctor whether s/he is confident about the yeast diagnosis, and also ask if you were tested for STD. Gonorrhea and chlamydia can cause vaginal bleeding.
