Abdominal pain ?'s: Discomfort such as described may be associated with constipation.  Transverse colon "pressure" is not usually related to diverticulae in the sigmoid colon.  See your primary care physician or get a referral to a GI physician for diagnosis and treatment.

7mm sessile colon polyp was removed from transverse colon.  hcp explained polyp was "mangled" (his words) and  pathology not avail. now what?

It depends.: Where to go from here depends on the details of your situation, including whether the endoscopist feels that he or she got all of the polyp removed, your family history, your medical history, and your age, among other things. Ask your doc: A colonic procedure should heal very quickly, likely within 5-7 days, but based on what your GI doc said, it must take several weeks for a clamp to fall off and pass. Ask you doctor for more specific answers on this. I for one would be very interested in his/her answer.

Dyspepsia.: We may generally term this "dyspepsia". Some possibilities for you specifically may include reflux, gastritis, stomach ulcer, duodenitis, duodenal ulcer or an issue with your gallbladder or pancreas.

Polypectomy: The gastoenterologist typically uses a hooped metal device to remove the polyp.  Sometimes the poly is big enough that they need to cut it in half to get to the base.

Large intestine...: The large intestine, or colon is made up of 6 parts: rectum, sigmoid colon, descending colon, transverse colon and ascending colon and cecum.  The transverse colon is located between the ascending and descending colon and resides high in the abdominal cavity toward the back.  Good luck!

What kind of surgery: It would not be a normal issue from most surgery to have a colon perforation , but it is a possible complication of some procedures.

Depends: If this was diagnosed on a ct scan, it could mean anything from mild colitis to a cancer. Best to be evaluated by a gastroenterologist ; see if you need a colonoscopy or not.

Results: they should have removed the polys during the colonoscopy----they  will then be sent to pathology for analysis. Your physician should be contacting you for follow up appointment to go over the pathology reports.It while determine if there is a problem with the polys

Under ribs: The transverse colon crosses from the left to right under your ribs(usually).Distal means away from beginning(right lower abdomen). I suspect the polyp was under your left rib cage.The important part is repeat colonoscopy at interval recommended by the GI dr.
