Probably not...: Using fda-approved estrogen for transsexuals has been the rule of practice with its proven effect but still under close professional supervision for watching potential side effects. Phyto-estrogen use for such has not studied, but in my knowledge, i deeply doubts if it can generate sufficient feminizing effect for transsexualism. May be covered...: Check with your insurance plan to see if transgender surgeries are covered. Many employers provide for trans surgeries and hormone treatment through insurance. Otherwise, breast augmentation may run $10,000; genital surgery around $30,000 for vaginoplasty and much more for transmasculine surgeries - depending on the surgery involved. No: Testosterone can increase risk of certain health conditions - esp. Heart disease, stroke, diabetes & certain types of cancer. Thus some affirmed males are advised against taking it or choose not to take it. And though it may improve the esthetic outcome of gender-affirming chest surgery in some individuals, surgeons following wpath standards of care (wpath.Org) should not *require* it be taken.

From 8-20K: Since this is a cash service you will find a broad range of prices offered. Make sure the price you are quoted includes contouring the chest are so it doesn't look like butchery.  Taking testosterone will improve and hasten transition and is preferred but is not required.

No, unlikely, but...: I would like to congratulate you for having done well after open VSD repair in infancy. Artificial chest binding to forge FTM physical stature itself should not affect existing heart function if it is sound. But in reality, it is for your best interest to ask your doctor who has monitored your transgendering process, which demands a lifelong personal &amp; professional dedication and cooperation.
