Needs biopsy: It may be sarcoidosis, or carcinoma with metastasis in liver and lymph nodes and in my opinion you may need biopsy to make the diagnosis.Ask your pulmonologist or internist what is his/her opinion as they have access to the films and your history.

Thyroid nodules: They may, depending on their size, composition, and what is causing them.  Ultrasound picks up thyroid nodules so small that they are of no significance.   The risk of thyroid cancer from a nodule is low, but should not necessarily be dismissed.  If someone told you you have thyroid nodules, you should probably see an endocrinologist who does his/her own ultrasounds and biopsies.

Just because: Nodules are kind of like freckles of the thyroid.   Many thyroids have nodules and some thyroids have many. Occasionally one of these nodules might be a cancer. We don't know exactly why people get cancer either.

Need exam: A painless nodule of the neck could represent a sign of many different problems.  You need to see an otolaryngologist for evaluation and management.  This likely would include a biopsy; possibly a fine needle aspiration biopsy.

Liposuction: To the best of my knowledge and experience liposuction whether the technique involves a laser should not result in a nodule of the liver.
