? Allergic Reaction: More information and an exam is going to help,  You could be having an allergic reaction or is it possible that you had a seizure and bit your tongue. Get checked!

uncle takes lisnopril ( blood pressure) med. for 10 years then has flu shot yesterday and last night tounge swelled so is it caused by shot or meds?

Angioedema: It could be either from Lisinopril or  flu shot. Difficult to delineate. Lisinopril could cause angioedema/tongue swelling at any point of time within first 6 months of its usage. After that it is very remote or unlikely. Flu shots also cause angioedema.

hives/ night chills.  face/tongue swell. entire body covered. is prednisone only solution?  is that dangerous?  no relief from atarax, my former saver

8 days ago i found out i was allergic to peaches as soon as i took a 2/3rd bite into one, the bottom of my tongue became numb and my lips swell with bumps on it. i drank alcohol last night and about 4-5 hrs of sleeping, my bottom lip is very swollen.

Antihistamines : Try taking oral antihistamines like zyrtec or Allegra. Benadryl will also help but might make you sleepy and only last a few hours. If any breathing difficulty, coughing or the sensation of throat tightening develops please see doctor right away

Yes But: It will heal if you burned your tongue. If no burn then no problem.

Avoid salt: There is no easy answer here, could this be an allergic reaction?  Hard to say.  The salt could cause a histimine release and cause the tongue to swell.  I would stay away from processed foods and switch to a low salt more natural diet.

Yep: Lymphadenopathy and lymphedema can also cause tongues to swell- a follow-up with a dds/dmd should be one of your first follow-up visits.

Tongue Swelling: Often times, medications that cause the mouth to get dry can lead to tongue biting.  In addition, people with sleep and snoring issues often bite their tongues when they sleep.  Sometimes, you can see crenations on the side of the tongue, which clearly indicate an episode of chewing on the lateral borders of the tongue and/or dry mouth.  Try an oral rinse like biotene to relieve your symptoms.
