Which tendon?: It sounds like you need a minimum of a splint, but possiblly a cast or surgery (if conservative treatment fails or major structure is damaged). Ot or pt also may be necessary. I would recommend you consult an orthopedic hand surgeon. In the meanwhile, rest, ice, compression, and elevation are key.

If it is a tendon: it may take months to heal, provided you have adequate brace to support it while it does.  Tendons are notoriously slow things to heal because of the poor blood supply to them.  If you are sure it is not completely torn through and require surgery to tack it back.  Keep a close relationship with your Hand Orthopedist while it heals. Usually: I can tell you from personal experience that 4-12 weeks. 12 weeks for full all out recovery.

Unlikely: A ruptured biceps tendon@ the elbow is usually known... Eccentric contraction of the muscle w/ a feeling of a ' pop' or tear is commonplace. Rotator cuff tears occurring @ the same time is conceivable but very unlikely. More likely you had a rct already and was 'picked up' by your ors @ exam/mri. The "long head" of the biceps in the shoulder can tear in chronic rot.Cuff tears . Gl!

Feels good: But, i don't see how it will help the tendon heal. Ideally, you would want to make sure both of the torn ends are placed back together if possible. There are other repair methods in case the tendon has retracted but this is something you need to see a podiatrist or foot and ankle orthopedist.

No: Tens units are helpful for pain modulation but do not have an effect on healing of tendons.

Not really: The supplements are adjunctive therapy to having the tendon repaired. So for example, they might help reduce inflammation after the tendon was repaired or help with wound healing but won't actually help the tendons repair themselves. Please consult a doctor.

Depends: Which tendon it is and what's affected.  More information needed.  Ask your doctor to verify that it is a torn tendon and not a sprain.  Remember,  wounds need time to heal and whether it is a torn tendon or a laceration - takes time.

If it is not a vest-: -igeal tendon such as Palmaris longus, poplitious in the hand &amp; lower leg , they R usually functional and need repair acutely, or if long standing tendon transfers &amp; grafts can B done.
