Excess synthroid (thyroxine): Too much synthroid (thyroxine) causes the same effects as thyrotoxicosis but it would be called a toxic dose of synthetic thyroid supplement rather than thyrotoxicosis. That is it is exogenous rather than endogenous thyrotoxicosis.

Osteoporosis: It is very unlikely particularly if you are taking the dose your doctor prescribed and you have follow up labs.

Not in USA: Levothyroxine in the usa is available as 25, 50, 75, 88, 100, 112, 125, 137, 150, 175, 200, 300 mcg.  There is no 37.5 mcg dose available.  However, you could take 1/2 of a 75 mcg if you like, or take 75 mcg every other day.  The result would be the same.  I don't know about the availability is in the uk.

Thyroid: Too much synth rood would usually cause too rapid a heart rate. In an occasional patient the tachycardia could have some av block associated. Too little thyroid would be a more common cause of block.

Yes: Sure, if it is too much. Have your doctor measure serum T4 and tsh, and adjust the dose.
