Needs exam: There are lots of things that could cause bumps, lumps and blisters on the genitals. I encourage you to schedule a visit for an exam and testing to determine the cause. Then the doc can tell you the treatment. What you are describing is concerning for an infection such as  genital herpes, yeast or others.

Head of clitoris (glans) is most sensitive part of clitoris ; cotributes most to sexual pleasure ; achieving orgasm. Removing part or all of clitoral hood increases sensitivity of clitoris ; can increase sexually induced pleasure.

: The clitoris is a  very vascular sensitive organ.  Smegma, infection, or strictures are conditions that can occur. You need to see a GYN MD who can examine the area and determine if any of the previous conditions exist or not. Smegma is an accumulation of material around the clitoris usually from poor hygiene that makes the clitoral hood unable to be retracted producing pain.

i am a female and have smegma under the clitoral hood. i have to clean myself a few times daily; is there anything i can use to keep it away?

Smegma: There are conditions that can look like smegma. Candida infection is one, vulvar inflamation, dermatitis, reactions to underwear, detergent or soap. Check with your doctor to have an accurate diagnosis before getting over the counter remedies.

Clit hood piercing: Probably best to see your doctor -  they will be able to assess the situation and if necessary - numb the area up to figure out what is going on.    Did the screw on portion get lost or is it still attached or unknown because its embedded??  -  This is something best left to another person to be able to look and if necessary - expose the screw on portion and then remove the piercing.
