for last 3 months fingers and toes have been continually peeling . has been sick with coughs and fevers ?

Atopy?: This sounds possibly like a combination of eczema and asthma which often go hand in hand.  The length of illness doesn't sound like scarlet fever.  Would be worth getting her examined by a doctor to make a diagnosis and/or arrange tests plus treatment

See PCP : The history you give bothers me. This could be something minor but i can think of 2 infectious problems that could have significant consequences if left unrecognized.Try to get in before the weekend or no later than early next week.

Consult dermatology: Without the symptoms of redness, itch or tenderness, one has to consider a systemic dermatological condition.  A dermatology consult may be necessary.  However, your pcp or a podiatrist may begin a work-up with a biopsy and bloodwork.

Many possibilities:: Anything from an undetected foreign body in the bronchus, to atypical asthma, to an immune deficiency or cystic fibrosis. Peeling skin does not help in making the diagnosis; you need a good pulmonologist.

Cracked peeling skin: The cracked, dry, peeling skin most likely due to athlete's foot and not related to scabies infestation.  There are several over the counter anti-fungal preparations that can be used to treat the feet.

Peeling skin: Skin peels so that dead cells can be eliminated and new cells can emerge. Several different conditions can cause the skin on the area of the toes to peel. They include athlete's foot and dry skin. Skin on the toes that continues to peel may require a visit to the doctor.

Couple of things: Soak the foot in warm water with a mild dishwashing liquid, when the tissue becomes loose, use a towel in a back and forth motion to scrape out the skin.

Athletes foot: Sounds like you have a fungal infection called Athletes foot. Try some over the counter athletes foot cream as directed. If it doesn't get better in a week or if you have diabetes then you should see a health care professional for evaluation. Could also be from too tight shoes. Wear sandals for a while instead.
