Nearly impossible: Now a days HIV us easy to treat. Easy to survive. And treated patients are getting healthier. I know of no patient today where HIV would be a reason for new SSI.

Depends: There are various recommendations based on your treatment state &amp; availability of purified water for formula. Since you can pass HIV to baby if your viral load is not undetectable, many recommend only formula feeding if formula/safe water is available. If your load is down and or safe water is not available you feed as you must. Duration is less important than your HIV status.

Improving: That is difficult to say because it continues to improve.A few years ago it was close to a death sentence but now with the treatments it improves every year.Just eat a normal heart healthy diet.

is it possible for a woman living with hiv without knowing for 11 and her daughter is 10 yrs old without any symptoms healthy.can you tell from this whether they are hiv positive or not.she had only i sex partner in life and even he is living healthy?

: HIV can be positive for years without symptoms. There are some rare people (which I have personally seen twice) with HIV who never have a lowered T cell count so it would not show up on regular lab tests. Get an HIV test

Cytokines: Weight loss occurs with many diseases, e.g. tuberculosis, inflammatory bowel disease, cancers, hyperthyroidism etc. Part of the weight loss is cause by release of cytokines by inflammatory cells.

Depends on situation: In my opinion, the decision to disclose HIV status to an employer is up to the patient.  However, i think this is a case by case basis.  If an HIV positive individual is working in the food industry, then it may be prudent to disclose HIV in the event of a cut when preparing food to others.  But if just working a desk job, it may not be necessary to disclose as chances are less likely to get hiv.

HIV treatment norms: I am not sure what you are really asking. But, all combinations of HIV medications should be available to prescribe based upon the genetics of the virus one has in their body.  I do not know of any limitations in any HIV program.

Perhaps.: Some people have HIV infection without producing aids.  After ten years, their numbers can still be normal. Most, unfortunately, after 10 years will have had evidence on the cbc.  The only way to know is to get tested. It is easily controllable with well tolerated meds now.

my cousin is 24 and living with hiv which is controlled alright. he take the following meds; aluvia-lopinavir/ritonavir 200mg/50mg. he observed occasional blood in his urine for the 3rd day. what could it be?

: Blood in the urine is always due to some serious underlying condition. It can range from infection of the urinary passage, blood disorders such as low platelet counts to , on rare occasions, bladder cancer.
So he must seek medical attention from a physician as soon possible.. Delays can lead to further complications.
