im turning 27 in june. however for past 2years especially-ive been noticing small white hairs growing out of my scalp. also there has been times where the op of my hair strand is white and the rest is my normal color.also hair thining at middle top?

Worth being checked: Most people start seeing grey hairs in their 30's. This depends on genetics, race and lifestyle. There could also be an underlying condition like thyroid disease, GI or autoimmune problems. Stress/Diet is also a major factor (B12 deficiency, anemia). Talk to your DR at your next physical about these concerns.

Grey Hair Young Age: I find it very common to have grey hair, at young age in america. At age 26, when i moved to usa, within a year, i started to notice grey hair. Why it is ? Is this the water, chemicals, stress, life style, i guess i came up with. Not an answer on medical facts but practical experience. My age group in india, still have thick dark black hair !
