Black spot: hello~ this most likely a small hematoma under the skin, ie; tiny blood filled cyst due to trauma. If that's the case it will resolve in 10 days -2 weeks. Moles are very rare on palms and soles of feet and do warrant special attention if found there. I would wait for 2 weeks and if still there let a dermatologist look at it. thanks

Could be many things: Splinter hemorrhage. Fungal infection Most likely.  Have her see foot doctor on routine basis since she's diabetic every 70 days

Most of the time they are benign lesions.
