I would recommend: An orthopedic consult there is definately something wrong. The problem may be nerve related like sciatica or tendinosis in origin and they would be able to determine this better on clinical exam.

Unknown: A mass in the groin could be a hernia. Could be muscle strain. We would need more information to be helpful. Is one thigh bigger than the other? Does it hurt anywhere. How long has it been going on. If it gets worse or you start to have bad groin pain you should see a doctor immediately.

Look back: It's possible that this sensation could be related to your lower back. Depending on which level is affected, symptoms from disc disease could radiate to the groin instead of down a leg. Ask your physician about this possibility.

: No STD causes any such thing. Sounds like probably normal skin and you're examining yourself too closely. It cannot have anything to do with your recent sexual contact. For sure this isn't herpes.
