Angina/ heart attack: What you are describing is concerning. Shortness of breath with chest tightness could be a sign of decrease blood flow 2 the heart, or angina. If the lack of blood flow is sustained, death to that portion of the heart ensues, which could lead 2 a heart attack. Alternatively, if you have been on any trips requiring you to sit long periods, then it could be a blood clot  to the lungs! see an md asap.

Go see your Doctor: This sounds like you have some experience with these symptoms.  If your home medication is not working it very well may be that you need to get to your family doctor when they are next open.
