hi, lately i notice that i have been having tickling sensation in my right leg. it just started a couple days ago.  i broke this leg in 2003.

Nerve: This is most likely an irritable superficial nerve and this tends to resolve on its own. Since there currently are no other associated symptoms such as pain, numbness or leg weakness, I would hold off on any investigation at this time. See your physician as needed.

Go see doctor: Numbness/tingling/heavy feeling in leg can be signs of many different things including nerve problem coming from your back, your brain or lower legs.  Can also  be related to infections, vitamin deficiency or other changes w substances in your body.  But evaluation is needed.

Both legs: Tingling in both legs is unlikely to be caused by nerve impingement, but more likely to be caused by a deficiency of calcium or magnesium or be due to a demyelinating process like multiple sclerosis. A neurologist is best to evaluate and advise you if symptoms persist. Appropriate testing will be done. In the meantime you could try taking calcium and magnesium recommended by your pharmacist.

Tingling: Possible sources are brain, muscle or anxiety. It is highly unlikely that a nerve problem is causing this due to the locations involved. You need to be evaluated by either a pm&r specialist or a neurologist.

Lumbar radiculopathy: Pain and tingling sensation down one leg with associated same sided low back pain is most often cause by a pinched nerve. Nerves pass through the lower part of your spinal column before entering and providing nervous supply to your legs. The nerve can get pinched or compressed, usually by an out of place disc,  before they enter the leg. This can in turn cause the symptoms your are experiencing.

Sciatica ?: This sounds like some spinal nerve root compression vs a local trauma with peripheral nerve damage locally. An ortho-spine doc and/or sports medicine specialist and/or neurologist would each be helpful in pinpointing the cause of your symptoms

Neuritis.: A little more clarity as to a more precise location on the leg (inside, outside), would help. But either way, It sounds as though a nerve is being irritated. This can sometimes be linked to your back, but not always. To remove all doubt, start with a evaluation by a primary care provider.

i have numbness and tingling sensation in my leg when i got up to walk i had trouble and i couldnt feel it and i almost fell who should i see for this?

Could be normal: You might have just compressed your sciatic nerve - the main nerve from your spine that extends all the way to the toes.  Sometimes you can sit on this nerve "wrong" and cause compression and a transient tingling and numbness.  If this only happens with certain seated positions, then I wouldn't worry.  If you have random tingling, numbness, pain, or esp weakness, then go see a Primary Care doc.

i have been having a tingling sensation on my right leg, and has caused a bit of numbness. the feeling started on the thigh, but has now moved down to the leg. what could this be?

Nerve problem: Either a peripheral nerve disease or central,compression could be this in unilateral fashion. Make an appointment with a neurologist, PMR doc, or you FP to evaluate this with appropriate testing to make an accurate diagnosis. Then you can start on a program to improve this,problem. Good luck
