No: Only deer ticks carry the lyme organism, wood ticks do not. Not all deer ticks are infected. The characteristic rash is sometimes easy to miss.

mom found tick in house.  don't usually have bugs in house. bullseye bruise on chest. didn't see tick bite me. should i get it checked out? definitely bruise colored ring, not red ring.

Yes and no. : If you are thinking lyme disease not likely but you could have cellulitis brewing. Watch for fewer and redness from the center

Can be: A bite from a tick that transmit diseases like lyme disease can present with a surrounding red ring that spreads out from the bite site.  This is called erythema migrans and is the cardinal sign of a lyme disease infection.  But there are other reasons why redness could present around stick bite site.  The important point here is to be seen by a physician for evaluation and treatment as needed.

Maybe tick rash: The rash from a tick bite is usually annular and resembles a bull's eye. If the tick was attached for longer than 24 hours and is full , I.e. has eaten you are at risk for Lyme disease. The treatment varies from 1 dose of doxycycline  to a full 10 day course. The tick that places you at risk is the  black legged tick. If there is any doubt see your doctor and take 1 dose of doxycycline.

Boil: This is probably staphylococcal and will need some antibiotic in addition to drainage.  See a doctor and have this tended to before it becomes a severe problem. Good luck.
