lately, i was found with minor high level of thyroid.i workout and i drink whey protein shakes..so is it safe to take whey in thyroid disorder?

No iodine: The only dietary restriction for most people with mildly high thyroid levels is to avoid excess iodine, typically found in seaweed or kelp.  Whey protein is derived from milk products and does not have excess iodine, so it is safe.

Shake and anxiety: The fact that the shaking occurs more when under stress just means that it worsens the symptoms.  Symptoms still likely to be neurological and physical in nature.  See a medical professional ASAP.

Carotid artery: Your carotid artery and, one on each side of your neck, supplies all the blood to your brain which can be up to 25% of your cardiac output. Therefore a very strong pulse is a good thing. It might be valuable to check your blood pressure to make sure it's not too high

No: What you are describing would appear to be "nystagmus". You should see an opthalmologist or a neurologist  sooner than later!

A physical therapist can help to ensure the head and spine are aligned correctly by teaching postural exercises, in addition to use of muscle relaxers and pain relievers.

Neuro or ortho: Suggest a neurologist or orthopedist to assess this set of symptoms.  Both can obtain a detailed history and examination to evaluate the issue, and suggest further tests such as imaging and/or electrodiagnostics.  The neurologist most likely can do the latter, but both can order these tests if needed.

one thyroid lobe was removed 7/13/12. i had visible shakiness for 2 weeks thereafter & internal shakiness since then. why am i shaking fm hypothyroidism?

Handling of tissue: Handling of the thyroid tissue, the squeezed thyroid secretions during the surgey could be the cause of tremors . The shakiness after 2 weeks if still there , I am not sure whether it is from cold intolerance from the hypothyroidism expected when you loose a considerable part of the tissue. Also need to r/o any infection at the operated site which can lead to chills/fever. Are u on thyroid med.
