Walmart/Target: Walmart and target sell thyroid medication for $4 a month. Even if it is a low dose, some thyroid replacement is better than none. If you can find a free clinic, you should also ask if the doctor can help you obtain the medicine at a reduced or no cost through a drug company. Many drug companies provide patient assistance. If you have internet access, look up www.Needymeds.Org for a list of meds.

It's my job to worry: Because I have to think, "what's the worst thing this could be?" i feel it's important to encourage you to see a gastroenterologist to find out where the blood in the stool is coming from. Bleeding from the bowel and weight loss can go along with cancer, so don't put this off. It sounds like your thyroid needs attention. If your TSH is high, your thyroid isn't putting out enough thyroid hormone.

Extremely Unlikely: A metastasis to the intestines or rectum can cause this but is extremely unlikely.  More importantly, you should be evaluated for other causes of the blood in the stool.

Neck Pain: The real blood, if dark red-see your doc. If bright red and rare. Be cool. Your neck-arm pain could be a disc rupture if your pain is patterned.  Sounds too much like a real disc injury to wait.  Check with doc.  Ortho or near surgeons.  You will need and MRI. Good luck. Only 80% get well without surgery.

why am i still losin weight? blood work was fine. stool test came back no parasites and no blood in stool. i have a small lump in neck that's moveable lymphoma? i also have a cough and feel fine!

Weightloss: Unexplained weightloss is always suspicious for malignancy and lymphoma in your age group would not be unusual. What do you mean "blood work was fine"? what were you tested for?

Yes.: Crohn's disease is a chronic illness associated with inflammation anywhere in the GI tract, typically the small intestine or colon.  It can be episodic, responding to a course of treatment only to recur again months to years later.  You should have a GI specialist you see regularly.  With return of bleeding you need to contact your doctor to discuss treatment.

oh my gosh this is embarrassing... i have a bloody stool? my dr. thinks i might have kidney disease or stones not sure if linked. why am i bleeding?

Not true: Rectal bleeding has absolutely nothing  to do with kidney stones or disease. This is a GI issue. See a gastroenterologist and disregard the other opinion.

It may be ...: Blood in the stool is never "normal". Most of the time it is caused by swollen anal veins - hemorrhoids.  Warm baths with epsom salts and a cream like anusol help those.
However, if there is a persistent discharge, there may be an underlying inflammation or infection - a type of colon inflammation or an anal infection like an abscess.

Different conditions: An anal fissure or hemorrhoids can cause blood in stool and anal pruritus or itchiness. The headaches and stress may be due to a different condition. A possible link would be through a degree of anemia if the rectal bleed has been going on for a while. Stress is the disease of the century and lifestyle changes are usually necessary. Talk to your doc about your symptoms at next visit.

is it possible to have mild form of crohn's disease? although all test were negative at the time i still get mucus and blood in stool for years now, have had gastritis in the past and history of colon precancerous polyps, but no answers?

May be IBS: You symptoms seem more in keeping with irritable bowel syndrome than Crohns. If you had polyps removed, it would be prudent to have repeat colonoscopy if it has been 5 years since the last one. It would be useful to visit your doctor, preferably a gastroenterologist.
