Dont think so: This doesnt sound like a good idea, at all. Thrush is a fungal infection and needs a proper anti fungal medication that can be prescribed by a physician. Baby acne i will leave for another physician to comment on. But i can say with great confidence that rubbing a pee-soaked diaper on a babys face/tongue will not solve the problem. Probably a bad idea.

Its possible: Whiteness on a baby's tongue is likely to be due to milk or thrush.  If you can wipe it off then it was likely milk residue.  If you can't, it may be thrush and you may need a prescription for Nystatin (anti-fungal medicine) from your pediatrician.

Depends: Your post does not give your location. In the USA it is common for a doc to just call in a prescription oral solution called nystatin. This is painted on the involved sites with an ear bud or just placed in the mouth. There is an OTC dye  called gentian violet that works but it is very messy &amp; permanently stains anything it touches.

Thrush: At this young age I feel it is best to see your pediatrician for advice and treatment.  You should be going to her two week check.  If you have already gone, call the office and ask for advice.  It is not dangerous and unless she is not eating is not an emergency.

Newborn:"Thrush" ?: It is best to have a pediatrician examine your 3 wks. old infant.  There are infections which can appear similar to "thrush".

Yes it might: Since dna testing is seldom urgent why not treat and cure the thrush first and then worry about the dna testing later on. Why is the thrush so severe? Is there any chance there is something wrong with the baby's immunity? See your pediatrician.

i keep having recurring thrush episodes and my husband also after we have sex no over the counter treatment seems to work. we got it after our baby had thrush in the mouth i'm assuming i had it in my mouth and giving him oral caused us to both get it now

Unusual: These are the main risks for vaginal candida. 
Diabetes
Steroid therapy
Antibiotics

How is your baby now?

Fluconozale tablets nearly always cure the infection. 
For you and your husband. Both should be treated. Actually I think 100mgs daily for five days should do the trick. No sex until the treatment is finished.
