on clotrimazole for 9 days and still have sore tongue.  how long does this take to cure thrush?

Oral thrush: Sometimes it takes a few weeks to cure this problem.  If you have good liver function , your doctor can call in diflucan (fluconazole). This comes in a tablet and is a little stronger and seems to work better.  Good luck and feel better!

can d3 deficiency raise blood calcium levels? can it cause a suddenly cracked and burning tongue? oral thrush?

No, it shouldn’t : Low vitamin D3 deficiency shouldn’t cause elevated calcium. Typically vitamin D3 deficiency would cause low calcium. There are various reasons (hormone abnormalities and other) why someone would have both of these that should be worked up by your primary care provider. Vitamin D3 deficiency may cause those symptoms but labwork should be done to rule out other vitamin deficiencies and other causes.

i had a thrush type of reaction, sore tongue, swollen check, etc. from amoxicillin.  will this likely happen with keflex?

Allergic reaction : You have about a ten percent chance of it happening with a cephalosporin such as keflex

Candida albicans: Thrush is a yeast infection in the oral cavity and is uncommon in adults, but can be predisposed to  by use of antibiotics or steroids, diabetes, etc. In this day and age one must think about immune deficiency, particularly due to HIV disease. Not due to B12 deficiency (which is very rare in USA).  Make sure this is really "thrush" since there are several imitators.

on omnicef 300 my po bid and tamiflu 2 capsules daily. day 6 of omnicef and day five of tamiflu. my tongue is burning,  feels large in my mouth and no white coating like thrush i had over a year ago.  pos for flu b. do i have thrush? using inhaler.

Thrush: There is a good possibility that you have developed thrush as evidenced by your burning tongue

7-10 days?: It depends on several factors. Are you still using the nystatin? Are you using a steroid inhaler? Are you done with the antibiotic? If you are not using a steroid and you are done with the antibiotic then you should get better quicker.

Doubtful: A wart (regardless of viral type) isn't typically painful. The exception is if its grown to a size and is in a location where it is putting pressure on a nerve or some other structure. See an oral surgeon to discuss having the wart removed.

Worrisome: Changes such as this in the oral cavity should be evaluated immediately due to the concern for cancer or changes to the blood supply.  That said, blackening of the tongue is commonly a side effect of bismuth use for upset stomach. Notably, your histories of anemia, hysterectomy nor burning mouth syndrome would be directly related to tongue discoloration.
