YES: My general rule on meds is a barf within 15 minutes can be followed by a full repeat of the dose. It may be prudent to wait until the kid has held down some sips of water or other material before trying.

i lost the last 5 of my jolivette pills. should i just start a new pack, or take the last five out of the next pack, throw that, then start anew?

Progestin only BCP: Jolivette is a brand of norethindrone, a progestin-only birth control pill. All 28 pills in each pack contain norethindrone. In other words, there are no placebo or sugar pills. Therefore, there is also no withdrawal bleeding as with standard combination estradiol-progestin bcps. I'd suggest just starting your next pack immediately. If you've missed a day or more, use condoms, too, as back up.

i took a preg. test and it came out negative, but this morning when i was going to throw it away the test had the positive line, what should i do?

Check another: test to be sure.  Sometimes when you leave the test for a while after the period of time that you were supposed to read it at, the lines would eventually show up.  It depends on the manufacturer of these test strips and how good their control is.  But make sure you read the test within the recommended time period after you run it. Pap: Paps can be affected by bleeding, inflammation an infections ie yeast or bacterial vaginosis, gonorrhea or chlamydia.  Hpv pos is a specific virus and when a positive test means that you have the virus.

Probably : combination of the above.  Nerves prob leading cause.  Make sure you get some food intake.  This will put less stress on your body.

Carbs in food: The hydrogen breath test provides information about the digestion of certain sugars (carbohydrates) and is performed to help diagnose lactose intolerance and bacterial overgrowth. If you eat before the test, the sugars in your food will interfere with the measurement of the amount of hydrogen produced by bacterial fermentation in your bowel and then eliminated by respiration through your lungs.

Please Clarify: I am not sure what you are really asking. If this happened to you then you have your answer already.  There are no medications that can cover up marijuana on drug screening.

Accepted Answer

Maybe true positive: You ate a big sugar load 8 hours before the test.  That may have produced a false positive or you may really be positive.  Generally patients should not eat for 8 hours before the test, but a big sugar load 8 hours before was a bad decision.

what blood tests can be used to determine dehydration? can dehydration throw off the results of a fibrotest or similar liver blood tests?

Accepted Answer

Dehydration.: There is no single test, but dehydration may be intimated by changes in sodium and potassium, calcium, uric acid, creatinine, BUN and the BUN / Cr ratio.  This will not interfere in any significant way with liver function tests and not at all with a fibroscan.
