Possibilities: There are a number of conditions that could cause pain here, such as a sprain/strain, pronator syndrome, a cyst, etc.  It would be reasonable to watch it for a few days and try an NSAID, and then see a physician if symptoms persist.

Nerve pinch: Common entrapments of ulnar N at the elbow, cubital tunnel,syndrome, can cause this. Might also be a forearm entrapment at pronator teres. See an ortho or PMR doc to eval,this and get a correct diagnosis and treatment path.

Maybe: This one is hard to say without examining your shoulder as it can be hard to distinguish pain arising from shoulder conditions such as impingement or rotator cuff tendonitis from neck conditions such as bulging disc.  Need to be examined to truly discern where the problem is from.  Xrays can be normal in either condition.

i am recovering from surgery and am getting left arm pain that comes and goes.  it is a throbbing pain in my bicep and hurts almost like a pulse throb.   i have a history of nerve pain so i never know when to take these pains seriously.  ?

Shoulder tendonitis: This could be a symptom of a rotator cuff ( shoulder tendon) problem. A through examination with an orthopedist or rehab doctor would be best to properly identify the cause.

Shoulder: Could be various reasons including osteoarthritis, rotator cuff  etc. if persists need to start with X-ray   If no contradiction ok to take ibuprofen 800mg 3 times a day for a week and low heating pad and rest it for few days

Probably still CTS: Carpel tunnel syndrome pain can sometimes be referred all the way up the arm.
