i was in a accident  in september  12 2018 i'm have  difficulty  swallowing  soiled  food  it get  stuck  going  down  and  start causing  me  to  feel  like  i  am  choking  i have  a  neck  injury  and  a shoulder  injury  i'm also a diabetic ?

Dysphagia: Your condition suggests dysphagia for solids. Typically a swallow evaluation is done and sometimes an upper endoscopy and/or Barium swallow series in order to better diagnose and address your problem. Best would be to start with your primary care doc who would be able to further coordinate.

i'm going to have a peg feeding tube because i have impaired swallowing after having botox in my neck 9 months ago. is this a permanent injury?

Large BOTOX dose: Does sound very increased dosage. Thus the risk/complication can take at least 18 months to resolve...

is it possible that the botox which i had in my neck is a permanent injury since it's almost 9 months and i'm still unable to swallow?

Accepted Answer

Botox not cause: BOtox is completely out of your system in at most 4 months, so this is not the cause of your difficulty.  
Have you told the person who injected the botox?  Have you asked your physician for another explanation?  Do you have a neurological illness?  Your neurologist would be the best one to ask about this.  Good luck.

Usually not.: Pain and mobility problems are common, but breathing and swallowing should not be affected. It is possible that you also had some rib or neck injury at the time you had the brachial plexus injury.

about 3 days ago i was eating a brownie from the store & i think i swallowed a piece of plastic i feel it in my throat its small what should i do?

Depends on symptoms: If just having a sensation of a little piece of plastic in the throat, one can call her primary care doctor to see if that doctor wants to take a look, or wants the patient go straight to an ENT doctor to look into the throat. If having trouble breathing, talking, or swallowing, then it is safer to call 911 and have the ambulance take a person to the ER, instead of driving in a private car.

: This is likely due to a sore/abrasion of the surface of the swallowing tube from something you ate. It may resolve on its own. If it concerns you they can look down the swallow tube with a camera you swallow.

Throat: The bumps are probably your taste buds or circumvallate papilla. If you are not sick at this moment, could be dehydration or a sign of acid reflux, less likely thyroid enlargement.

Probable Virus: More than likely you have a viral sore throat.  It could have associated fever, a white covering on the tonsils and back of the throat, swollen lymph glands in the neck, under the jaw and you could even have a rash.  Strep throat could do the same.  If you have not ingested anything to cut or abrade the throat or back of throat, then viral would come to mind, though others could cause this.

Many possibilities.: It's not possible to say why your throat hurts when you swallow without more details or your history and an exam. There are many potential sources of odynophagia, or painful swallowing.  See a doctor to have your throat examined.
