: All imaging results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,  a CT examination of the spine is warranted, as advised you your doctor.

Maybe echo: A mass inside the heart or in the wall of the heart would not likely show up on a chest xray.  If the mass was large enough or caused the heart to enlarge or if there was a pericardial effusion associated with it, there may be an indirect finding on the xray.  But the mass itself would not show up on the xray.  Ct of the chest could also potentially see a focal mass in the heart.

Seek treatment: This is a condition where the intercostal nerve in the thoracic spine is irritated, causing pain along the ribs. It can be due to disc herniation, compression fractures, tumor, shingles, to name a few. Early signs may just need observation. Check with your md.

had biopsy done on nasal mass 7/29 path came back plasma cell neoplasm no signs ebv 2nd biopsy done 8/9 and path came back plasma cell neoplasm ebv active. i had extreme stress those 11 days. could that have activated the ebv?first path read at sloan?

: Plasma cell neoplasm is the more important finding and you need to be evaluated for the extent of the disease and  appropriate treatment.

Not usually.: T.O.S. Usually has neurologic implications(numbness, tingling, decrease in the range of motion of the extremity).  Sounds like you are describing something vascular in nature; best to have your doctor check it out and determine which one you are ailing from.

Maybe: Classic symptoms of Covid19 are fever, sore throat, aches, dry cough, loss of smell, but associated chest pain, especially with breathing difficulties,is one of the symptoms of more serious infection and warrants evaluation in the hospital emergency room. Also notify your physician.

Confusing question: So chest pain is a symptom, not a disease. The pain itself is a symptom. By signs we mean things we find on examining you so that the signs would depend on the cause of the pain. If for instance the pain is because you were in a car accident, there might be a bruise from the seat belt.

Possibilities: Consider aerophagia (air swallowing), esophageal dysmotility, atypical gerd. If originating below the esophagus, maybe: 1) partial gastric outlet obstruction due to gastritis/ulcer; 2) pyloric narrowing from scar;3) gastroparesis due to delayed stomach emptying (as w/diabetic gut neuropathy); 4) bacterial overgrowth in gut; 5) any malabsorption; 6) pancreatic maldigestion; 7) ibs. Get checked.
