It is associated with ovulation.  Most likely you have ovulated.  There are over the counter tests to determine your ovulation time.  They are used if you are trying to get pregnant and best predict when to have intercourse.

Guaifenesin: Guaifenesin, the active ingredient in Robitussin or Mucinex, (guaifenesin)  can thin cervical mucus. It is used around ovulation in infertility patients on Clomid, which can prevent the normal thinning.
