Progestin: Implanon is a progesterone implant and that can initially cause some increased flow. This should improve in a week or so. If fever, cramping or worsening discharge be seen.

There are also some skin conditions liked lichen sclerosis which can cause vaginal itching.  Start with an over the counter yeast  cream. If not improving schedule a visit.

R/O YEAST INFECTION :  Thick white vaginal discharge may represent a yeast infection. You need a full exam including pelvic exam cultures and STD SCREEN..  Also if it is recurrent evaluation for diabetes by checking HBA1C
