i  am having thick, clear, clumpy discharge. its   completely  see through but im getting clumps of it when i wipe and on my panties. is this normal?

Vaginal d/c: Most likely Yes. With hormonal monthly changes there are changes in the vaginal and cervical mucus, also changes with libido. if it is clear would be less concerned.  Check HCG if sexually acitve. usually if odor or white there is more concern. f/u with doc

Clumps not good.: Clear discharge is good.  Clumps could be a problem.  An exam by you FP or GYN is needed fairly soon.

Not Necessarily!: Sexually transmitted diseases such as chlamydia and gonnorhea very often manifest as discharge from the urethra in males, and the cervix in females; however, many times they cause no symptoms at all! however, they could be doing internal damage. If you believe you may have been exposed, i urge you to get cultures done...And use condoms so as not to spread a potential infection! good luck!

Need Eval: If you have a change in color, texture, odor or amount of vaginal discharge &amp; problems such as pain, itching burning with urination or sex or redness/swelling  then It is best to see your gynecologist for evaluation &amp; accurate assessment.

i had a clear thick jelly like discharge in abnormal amount, just stop takin bcp. why is that happening?

Probably fine: With hormonal fluctuations (going on or off bcp's for example) vaginal secretions can often change in thickness and quantity.  If you are having any pain or itching, otherwise this may normalize with subsequent cycles.

Infection: possible BV ( bacterial vaginosis ) an overgrowth of Gardnerella, a bacteria common in this type of infection. Also possibly, normal female sexual mucous. Requires exam, culture, diagnosis and treatment.

Menstrual changes: Have you been checking your cervical mucous regularly? Your mucous is expected to change during each cycle from stretchy and thin during ovulation and thick and sticky afterwards until your period. It is not normal for mucous to stay the same consistency throughout the entire month. No worries if not malodorous or causing other symptoms.

had thrush taken oral tablet and now got thick light brown clumpy discharge coming out, is this clearing out? or abnormal? thanks, female

Maybe not yeast: By &quot;thrush&quot;, presumably you mean vaginal yeast infection, right? However, yeast usually causes mostly itching and little discharge, or only a small amount of white discharge. Colored discharge suggests other infections, including STDs if you are at risk (new partner, partner with other partners, etc). Follow up with your doctor for diagnosis and professional treatment.
