It depends: on the type of sickness the child has (respiratory vs. gastrointestinal).  Respiratory illnesses are generally transmitted to other people by contaminated respiratory droplets, from a sneeze for example.  Some viruses are much more contagious than others, and can live on surfaces (such as a glass or doorknob) longer than others.

Doubtful contagious: Unless the  childs vomited entered your mouth, mucosal areas or was inhaled , it is less likely you will contract anything from the child. I presume the vomit was not on you and if it was, then you washed the vomit off? I would just observe your symptoms, wash your hands frequently. Avoid touching your face and see a doctor if any symptoms occur. Good luck

Unlikely: The main ingredient in this product is benzalconium chloride which is an antibacterial agent. Any person can have an individual sensitivity to a chemical and react with a skin rash or have it trigger respiratory irritation. It is a common agent used to prevent the spread of germs/infection.

It is : Always good to keep temperature between 68-72 degrees fahrenheit . You will need to adjust temperature accordingly from time to time depending on the weather.

Sleeping all Night: No real problems from day 1 at home. But certainly once sleeping thru the night.
