Could be trauma: If the burning has been going on for a year and is after sex it may be from microtears to your vagina if your patner is big and you have minimal foreplay hence minimal lubrication. Using lubricant and prolonged foreplay may help. You may doctor may want to do a good vaginal exam to r/o ulcers or infection.

Waterpark contact: Unfortunately, the water at the waterpark or the slides contained an irritant to the vulva. Sometimes it is a lack of proper chlorination of the water, or the fact that you were in a wet bathing suit for a prolonged period of time increasing the likelihood of a yeast infection. Regardless, you need to see a GYN MD for an examination to discern the problem and provide Rx.

i had af genitalium tests and everything was negative even candida ,my gyn told me that you have candida but no lab results test positive for it . i have soreness and little burning outside my vagina . is it possible to have candidates only outside?

: It is difficult to disregard your GYN doc's diagnosis without examining you although your symptoms and negative test seem incompatible with vaginal yeast infection. However, if your doctor made that diagnosis and gave you prescription for this condition you should use it as a therapeutic trial because the treatment for vaginal yeast infection is not harmful.

Dermatitis: Possible reaction to ingredients or not a yeast infection ( canesten is for yeast).  If gets worse or redness spreads then be seen as soon as possible.  Otherwise was skin with cool water.  Can try soaking in tub with 2 cups of baking soda.  Try ice packs to area for 20 minutes on and 20 minutes off and see a doctor when you can
