Then spread child's legs and bring the diaper up in between the legs and fasten. Do not try to lift legs/buttocks as child likely to heavy, will strain both your and child's muscles.

It's the moisture that over hydrates the skin & sets them up for diaper rashes. Most kids can sleep 6-9 hours in a diaper & not have problems. Those using cloth diapers & heavy diaper covers will trap moisture & have more problems with rashes if left overnight.

Not if eating well: Babies start to urinate less often as they get older; initially, they wet with every feeding, but later, they sleep more deeply and may wet less often.  If he is eating well and seems comfortable, you can wait and see what happens.  If he does not void at least 2-3 times in 24 hours, call  your doctor.
