Needs further workup: This very well could be pleurisy, which is an inflammation between the chest wall and lung.  Having had a recent respiratory tract infection is a classic preceding finding.  However, it may also be a sign of a more serious condition, especially in the setting of shortness of breath, swelling of the legs and history of smoking and use of birth control pills. See your doctor for a physical exam ASAP

: This is a very hard question to answer. What we do know with Covid illness is that ANY part of the body can ache/hurt.  So that would include your breasts.  On the other hand, when you ask is it "normal", I don't think we know enough about what are more common symptoms vs rarer symptoms other than fever, body aches, fatigue and alterations of taste and smell. We are still learning with every case!
