Depending on factors: like how much you hand been training beforehand, your level of hydration, wind/temperature, how used you are to that terrain &amp; if you pushed yourself beyond your normal training limit- it is understandable that you could feel exhausted. Additionally, unless you are accustomed to back to back racing days that can be an issue. People sometimes push themselves harder in a race than when training.

: The sooner you see the doc, the better, as it will shorten recovery, specifically if shoulder dislocated and/or fractured. Start with GP if having one.

Take iron: It Is likely that you are iron deficient and need to take oral iron supplements on a regular basis. You may keep training and training will be more effective if your hemoglobin is normal. Taking iron supplements will not negate any of the benefits of a vegetarian diet.

Likely hematoma : It is likely a hematoma, which is a area of bleeding that can occur secondary to
Injury and other causes, when it forms a clit it hardens.  I do think it would be good to be seen to verify the diagnosis and to rule out an associated fracture.
