Difficult to tell: Your boyfriend needs to see an endocrinologist and  a neurologist, and possibly a urologist.  The chances of reversal are not great.  Finding doctors in texas should not be difficult.  The state has some of the best med schools in the usa.  Call those facilities and ask for referrals.

i'm  in colorado been here since right before the  pandemic started my husband works here my doctor was helping me with my meds but he's not licensed or sent up to help me anymore unless we move back to texas and right now there's no way possible ?

No easy solution: When/if your doc in another state cannot continue your meds (there are medical board limits) you will need to establish care with another doctor at your location. : Maybe. Some people are quite sensitive to the environmental changes that can trigger upper airway drainage/ add to sinus risk. Controlling the environment that you can at home/work can help. Maintaining a humidity between 30-40% with a humidifier in your sleeping areas can reduce the triggering effect of dry heat on sinuses.

Varies: I would not hesitate to be seen.  The vast majority of patients with disc herniation a do respond to nonoperative care, but a small percentage do require surgery, which in general is highly successful for the appropriate candidate.

BIG state: Big state with lost of good physicians.  Best advice would be to first check with your pediatrician - they will have relationships with the local specialists.  Another option would be to call the nearest pediatric hospital for their referrals.
