Go see your doctor for a thorough exam. S/he may order an ultrasound to determine if you have a mass inside the testicle, but hopefully it is something benign such as a cyst or varicocele (dilated blood vessels). Good luck!

Based on this exam, a scrotal ultrasound may be ordered, which will help make the diagnosis.

Lets treat Hypochond: You have to trust your test results and your treating doctor. If you do not, then we need to treat your hypochondriasis. Testicular cancer is not a subtle condition. It will produce a growth in the testicle which you can feel with your hands (bigger than the other testicle) and ultrasound will show it up  easily. So just relax, think of better things to do than worry(you should wait to worry!).
