Twitch or pulsate: Is it blue or clear? Usually you are feeling an artery pulsate. Put your index finger on it and see if you can feel a pulse? When we get hit, or strenuous exercise or bend over to pick up heavy objects- you may feel the pulsing. If this is it, nothing we can do. Show your family doctor. Do you have high blood pressure? Check your blood pressure.

On muscle twitching: Muscle twitching commonly occurs with large changes in activity.  For instance, a sudden increase in activity, or a sudden decrease in activity- the result is that the nerves change the input to the muscle and the density of nerve endings changes.

Are you certain it is the muscle?  There is an artery near there too, could it be your pulse?

If it is isolated to one side in a specific distribution, such as for example, from the corner of the eye to the corner of the mouth, or below the corner of the mouth to the jaw, and feels like an electrical pain, you may have trigeminal neuralgia. The temple twitch is harder to pin point and you'll need to be examined for that.

Often stress related or due to fatigue or too much caffeine or energy drinks.  Sometimes could be related to hyperactive thyroid gland and other stuff.

Since you're a little young for this problem,  you may be dealing with a type of neuralgia, which is less serious, I recommend consulting a physician or neurologist for prompt evaluation

While a brain tumor is possible, there are many other less serious possibilities including migraine headaches (more common in women), cluster headaches (more common in men), vision problems, and others.  After exam if nothing serious turns up, consider alternative options such as CBT psychotherapy.
