Temple pain: Temple pain could simply be a muscle headache. However an artery courses thru the temple soft tissue thar can get inflamed. Temporal arteritis is the syndrome. Get checked please. Temporal arteritis is serious - can lead to eye impairment.

Yes: Yes. The pain is usually over the sinus too but can migrate anywhere. If you are also having body aches and/or fever you probably need some antibiotics. You should see a doctor asap.

i have a lump on the right side of my head near my temple its tender to touch  and i'm extremely worried. what could this be?

Could be: a sebaceous cyst  (especially if its above your hairline!

Hot Compresses might help until you can have this seen by your PCP (Primary Care Provider)  In the meantime STOP being frightened!! It is MOST likely a very SIMPLE problem!!!

Temporal arteritis: Would see your doctor and be checked for temporal arteritis.  There may be other reaswons for your discomfort, but that should be checked for.

Evaluate ASAP: Severe headache as well as tenderness  often in the temporal area of the scalp can certainly due the result of giant cell arteritis (temporal arteritis). Have your doctor evaluate asap.

i started taking flinstones mv w/ iron 2 days ago, because i had anemia symptoms. my jaw hurts to open, temples are tender to touch. are they related?

Not related: There is no relation between your vitamin intake/anemia and your jaw/temple pain. I would recommend seeing a doctor who can examine you and determine the cause for your symptoms.

Cough headache: You may or may not have a primary cough headache. The anatomical region you describe is the temporal area overlying the zygomatic arch. Try cough medicine and ibuprofen for symptomatic relief and if the headache persists or is associated with visual changes or if it is severe and started all of a sudden see MD.

Sinus infection?: You have been sick long enough!  You need to be treated. You may have a sinus infection and need antibiotics.
