Pantoprazole: Can cause both diarrhea ( more common) and constipation (up to 4% of patients). Would not assume it is the drug, but rather recommend you inform your treating doc so that a thorough evaluation may take place in the context of your comorbidities, current meds, lifestyle, etc.

Pantoprazole: Pantopraxole is normally used for GERD and not for constipation. It can however, cause diarrhea, but that is not the way to cure your constipation. For immediate relief take Miralax (polyethylene glycol). However, there is a good chance that you will need a diet change that includes a high fiber diet for permanent relief

i get recurrent upper intestine bloating & inflammation due to hyperacidity. constipation at times also adds up to the overall discomfort. doctor says gastritis & prescibe pantoprazole which does fix it but is there any better medicine for this?

: H. pylori needs to be ruled out as the cause of your gastritis. If you have this condition, you need to be treated with a combined regimen for 2 weeks. Without H. pylori, you can take pantoprazole for 2 months then stop and pay attention to foods which trigger the pain.  Active life, exercise, adequate fluid intake, high fiber foods, +/- stool softener are the answers for fighting constipation.

Toss a coin?: As you probably know, it is too early to tell if you are pregnant. All of the symptoms you describe--nausea, cramping, constipation can be part of the luteal phase of your cycle often called PMS/pre-menstrual syndrome. Home pregnancy tests are not reliable until after the day you actually miss your period. I think you are going to have to be patient and wait until then. Best wishes!

Yes.I would recommen: d Miralax (polyethylene glycol) or for something stronger,Milk of Magnesia.Also,Increace your daily fiber with something like a bowl of Raisin Bran every morning.This will help prevent future constipation issues naturally.??

headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting,
gas, dizziness, joint pain.  The symptoms of stomach pain, frequent stools, and gas suggest possibility of side-effects.  Doctor should be consulted.

Any drug can: Almost any drug can cause itching if you have become allergic to it even though allergy to pantoprazole is quite uncommon.  The only way to tell is to stop taking it and use another PPI in its place.

Protonix (pantoprazole) can be branded in different names, depending on the manufacturing co. One form is by nycomed co. In germany (pantoloc).
