Shorter than dad: Unfortunately, mom and dad both contribute equally to expected height.Boys are expected to reach the average of parental height plus 2.5 inches. This would be about 5'11".He is average height for an 11 yo and the average for male adults is 5'10. So it is most likely that he will be shorter than dad, but average for the population.

Hard to say : Poor lifestyle choices can alter your health, but you don't have to beat yourself up on this one issue. The expected final height of a male is the average of their parents height plus 2.5 inches. That expectation is plus or minus an inch. Since your numbers put you into that range, i can't say smoking had anything to do with your height.

Some basics to know: The expected final height of females is the average of both parents less 2.5 " plus or minus an inch. You height is in that range. Women usually stop growing @ 16-17 when their growth centers close. After growth centers close (x-rays can confirm) no further height increase is possible. There are no exercises/diet/meds that can alter this when your growth centers close.

Typically : Typically young women stop growing after puberty ends and before they reach their 20's. There is a slight chance your height may increase, however likely not 2-3 inches. Only time will tell. 5'7 is a fantastic height, embrace it!

Maybe: Height prediction says that you will be around the same height as your father is. You are close to that now. Keep eating well and there is chance you will be taller than your father. I have seen this many times - the prediction charts are  not always that accurate!

Don't know your: Age or your gender - to know if you have completed puberty or not.  Formula for rough estimate of your height = (father's height + 13 cm) + mother's height  / with total being divided by 2.

Generally: Mom + dad +2(for boys) and -2(for girls) divided by 2 then =/- 4 inches

so 5-11 =5-5 +2/2= 5ft 9 +/_ 4 inches
         (5-5 to 6-1)
  
5_11 + 5_5 - 2/2= 5 ft 7 +/- 4 inches
         (5-3 to 5-11).

Genetics: Hard to predict exactly when you will finally stop growing, since it is genetically predisposed. How tall were you when you were two years old? A good rule of thumb is that your final height will be twice that.

An x-ray of his wrist/hand might show growth plates that suggest he could have more height potential or that he are nearing his final height. My suspicion from listed height at 12.5  is that he may grow taller than the predicted height.
