: It is a common practice to relate any relevant history and or physical findings to a specialty consultant when a doctor arranges a consult. I would find it unprofessional if they did not. I would also not assume anything else was part of that discussion.

: A neurologist may be uncomfortable interacting with your primary care physician outside his/her specialty.   Best is to be referred to an orthopedic specialist for problems with "limping".

Hmmm....: That's like asking why get a haircut and style at a salon where you have to pay $49 when your relatives are getting the same cut and style for free because they are in the bridal party. The answer is because that cut and style looks just great. It's that simple. However, if coworkers have a benefit, maybe one can ask the employer how to become eligible for that benefit (you might qualify).

dry mouth gets worse while talking stool,urine,thyroid,blood tests came fine? noticed enlarged back tongue papillae, sometime saliva tastes weird when very dry, doctor said mouth is bacteria free?

No: No mouth is bacteria free.  In proper balance the bacteria help us digest food.  We all have millions of bacterial cells living in our mouth all the time.  There are many causes of dry mouth.  Please see a Dentist for an evaluation.

Try looking online: Years ago, listings were available only in printed form. By the turn of the century, lists had become available online everywhere. Now, some lists are only online, and no longer printed. County medical societies (or other local medical societies), hospitals, and insurance companies usually list doctors by name, group, insurance plans and location. Look under Neurology, or Physical Medicine (PM&amp;R).

You may want to: Reviewing imaging studies with patients is a great idea. This promotes understanding and encourages openness. The neurologist can take your clinical findings and correlate with the imaging findings. This allows you to see how your doctors arrived at your diagnosis. You may also contact your radiologist.

Both, and more: There are consultation-liaison (c-l) psychiatrists working in hospitals, who help medical teams deal with these patients all the time.  Also neurologists may do so.  The bottom line, though, is to get to the reason for the delirium and treat that.  C-l psychiatrists often help with this, discerning illnesses, medications, & side effects that might contribute to the problem and assist recovery.

why don't respiratory doctors deal with obstructive sleep apnea instead neurologists?

They do: Usually the pulmonologist and neurologist will interpret the sleep study and the order CPAP treatment.
