hi new to this. i'm due to get my implanon taken out on the 25th june but last couple of days my arm has been tingling and now a stinging/burning feeling around were the implanon is.is this normal and is there anything i can take. thankyou ?

Is it infected?: Is the area around the Implanon reddened or swollen? If so, have your MD see this area and treat it. It may require premature removal of the Implanon.

im male, 23,workout regularly,however dont drink enough fluids. im paralyzed t5-complete. i take gabepenton. iknow its for nerve pain, when i have burning/sharp pains it helps. but does it also help with stinging pain on the surface of my skin?

: Gabapentin is used mainly for alleviating the symptoms of peripheral neuropathy. It is not a truly pain medication but we usually use it along with a pain med (analgesic) for synergistic effect. In the end, the damping effect on the peripheral nerve may provide some pain relief.
It seems you have a neuropathic pain so Gabapentin may be helpful.

i cut myself shaving inside my vagina and it burns and stings really bad when i pee. how long does it take to heal?and what can i do for the burning?

Heals fast.: It is very difficult to injure vagina while shaving. However the mucosa on the outside area or the skin next to it can be injured. Mucosa heals in 3 - 4 days and skin 7 - 10 days. Application of neospiorin will help ease off burning by covering raw area and reduce chance of infection. Liquid benadryl (diphenhydramine) application also has been proven to reduce burning.

i had a pacemaker implant on 5 nov 2019. the incision has healed but inside around the area is very tender & swollen in parts. sometimes i experience a stinging/burning sensation. just wanted to know how long it should take to heal & if this is norma?

Healing: Unless there is associated and spreading redness, increased swelling or discharge from the area, I would give it more time for complete resolution of swelling or irritation. If you still have concerns. consult the physician who inserted the pacemaker for evaluation and advice.

Nerve: This may be a pinched nerve(meralgia parasthetica) which can be seen in overweight people or people who sit for prolonged periods like truck drivers. If you have further concern, see a neurologist for evaluation and advice.

i have numbing, stinging pain bottom  of feet, and joints.  what can i take for pain? i have parkinson's(early). have parkinson's.  lately burning, stinging pain feet.  swollen feet.  pain is driving me crazy.  what can i take for pain? some numbness.

Burning : Burning and stinging pain and swelling is usually not related to parkinson's disease.  These problems may indicate an autonomic neuropathy, among other neurological and non-neurological diagnoses.  It is usually a good idea to determine the cause and diagnosis of problems before deciding on curative or noncurative, symptomatic treatment.

Nerve endings : Yes nerve endings are damaged part of the protection system to let you know there has been an injury pain sometimes gets worse if too dry or infected or too much traction on healing wound may turn to itching as it heals.
