Depends: Depends upon the type of dissolving suture as there are many different types.  24 days is not unreasonable and I assume some of the sutures have fallen out already.  They will continue to do so with time.

Accepted Answer

Yes: I have been using the davinci robot for almost all of my gynecologic procedures for the past 3 years.  Prior to that, i did laparoscopic procedures without the robot.  I find the robot significantly improves my surgical dexterity, precision, and visibility.  I find my patients have less blood loss, less pain, and quicker recoveries.

what are the disadvantages of robotic surgery?

I'm biased: Not the "direct" human touch that i've learned and refined over many years of microsurgical care. My direct visual exposure through my operating microscope allows me instant visual feedback at which time i can make micro adjustments. I personally trained to be a ophthalmic surgeon & i don't want to be replaced by a robotic system, that may eventually replace the skills i've learned over the years-.

can i swim 3 weeks after a robotic hysterectomy?

If no raw areas: If there are no external wounds that are raw, you may swim. Increase your activity gradually, as you will not be in as good a shape as you were before surgery. It is good that you are getting back to your exercise.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex.

3-4 weeks: 3-4 weeks after a robotic histerectomy vs. 6-8 after an abdominal one.

Accepted Answer

Hysterectomy cost: Your question can have multiple answers. One hospital accross the street can bill 10k for a surgery and the other hospital can bill for the same procedure and equipment 50k or more. These numbers are just examples but i wanted to make a point. Its in your best interest to find out with hospitals inside your local community. Be a well educated patient and ask with no fears.

Varies: The return can be a soon as a few days or as long a s a few weeks.  The mount of straining you should do is limited for a couple weeks after a hysterectomy.  The recovery is quicker with the robotic assisted surgeries.

Capgras Syndrome: You may be describing this disorder if the belief is that others you know have been replaced by imposters. The others look, act, and seem identical to the real people but somehow are imposters. Perhaps highly sophisticated robots have replaced them. There have been a number of movies promoting this idea. It does not have to be a robot. It could be any other type of replacement of the person.

Yes: Done by the right surgeon it is not any less safe than say, laparoscopic surgery. Depending on the specific type of surgery you're asking about it may be preferred. It is not mainstream yet though.
