: Pediatricians in the US quit recommending these antihistamine products for cough/cold symptoms under age 6 decades ago. They usually thicken mucus secretions and may make it harder for babies to expel retained mucus. I would not.

dad, 80, had cold. saw resp. spec on 11/21. on phenylephrine &, amoxicillin tablets and  chlorpheniramine-m syrup. his morning bp is elevated as in 155/88.  it stabilizes to 135/82  soon after. no sympts. tabs are finished. syrup remains. stop syrp?

Yes: If the cold symptoms are over, it is not necessary to take medicine for them. The phenylephrine he took might have contributed to the elevated BP (which may also rise with discomfort or pain.

Too young: In the US, a two-month-old would be a few weeks too young to use Amoxil unless there was a very specific reason. Also, a two-month old here would be many years too young for combination cough/cold/allergy medications. The US recommendation is for young children not to use medications such as decongestant-antihistamines to treat cold symptoms.

Yes, but: Why would you want to take both? What are we treating here?  You should not be taking antibiotics if not under the care of a physician.

Probably nothing: These drugs are pretty much harmless. Someone could hardly take enough do do any damage. (Ten times this dose, or its equivalent in similar drugs, is sometimes given intravenously for serious infections.)

Amoxicillin : If you took all but 1 dose and it has been  2 days it probably won't make a difference

tested pos for strep 7/2/17. prescribed amoxicillin for 10 days. twice a day. i would forget to take the 2nd pill at times. but never skipped a day. i had pills left over. today is 11th day. i took one in the a.m. but i lost my pills. am i at risk?

Strep: You should be fine but if you continue with sore throat, fever &gt;100.4F, lymph node swelling, and dry cough I would recommend getting retested.

Perfectly fine: To keep it effective you should take it every eight hours that you are up three times in a day.

Not likely: But doubling up on some medications may increase the risk of adverse effects

Should not interact: The current thinking is that except for rifampin, other commonly-used antibiotics do not alter the effectiveness of combination birth control pills such as Lessina. This is likely presuming a person is not sick with vomiting or bad diarrhea, or some other condition that decreases the absorption of a swallowed pill.
