can i take plan b when i'm having cramps and spotting?

Plan B: Plan b can be taken at anytime that there is failed contraception (if you aren't pregnant).

i took plan b pills twice in 2 days about 2 weeks ago. my breasts are sore and i'm getting cramps still. is it possible for the possible side effects of plan b pills to take this long ?

: If your periods have been regular (24-32 days apart) and this period is delayed, wait until your cycle is 5 days delayed and obtain a serum HCG test to be certain about pregancy.  "Plan B" pills are not 100% preventive of pregnancy.

if i poop 1 hour after taking a plan b because of stomach  cramps. do i have to take another one ?

: No. Bowel movement an hour taking plan B would not affect the usefulness of the medication.
If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. Consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD.

follow-up to question just posted. spotting on 11.23.20 and heavy (bright res / period type flow) 11.25.20 & 11.26.20 (broke out + ongoing cramps). how far back does plan b push ovulation / period back and do i need to take another pregnancy test?

Periods with Plan B: Periods can get very off schedule with the use of Plan B. Sounds like you had a period, albeit not your usual one. It is very unlikely you are pregnant. If it is time for her period, you can certainly do a pregnancy test, and if negative , repeat in 3-4 days. Don't be too concerned though, about the lack of normal period if pregnancy tests are negative after use of PlanB.

Plan B: Potential side effects w emergency contraception include: menstrual flow changes (spotting, bleeding, early or late period), nausea, vomiting, dizziness, fatigue, headache, breast tenderness &amp; abdominal pain or cramps. Take pregnancy test &amp; notify dr if your period is 7 or &gt; days late. She could be pregnant or this could be Plan B side effects.

Very unlikely: It is virtually impossible if you have you period. You can always do a home pregnancy test.

Menstrual Cramps: Motrin is a NSAID that decreases the amount of prostaglandins theorized to contribute to dysmenorrhea (painful periods outside of other gynecological pathology). Taking NSAIDS every6-8hrs during period helps. However, there are risks associated with taking NSAIDS. Follow instructions on box, if more needed suggest gynecologist evaluation/doctor's prescription. Remember: take motrin w/ food/milk.

how long after taking 2 500mg tylenol (acetaminophen) can i take motrin? i left my motrin at home and my friend is getting it for me but i took tylenol (acetaminophen). having cramps

You can take motrin: right away. There is no interaction between motrin and tylenol (acetaminophen).

bad mentrual cramps, and i only feel normal and great if i take two ibuprofen or motrin and two midol. is that bad?

OK if ibuprofen200mg: For total of 400mg. Especially if you only take 1 , 2 or 3 doses. Good luck.
