Neither: See a dermatologist. First determine cause of hair loss. For a man you may get prescription finasteride. 5 mg is cheap & a pill cutter can be used to cut it into 4 parts to take 1 piece a day. 1mg Finasteride (propecia) is expensive. Men or women can get Minoxidil otc. The 2% is nearly as effective as the 5%, but cheaper(about 4$ per month). If you buy the brand rogain it costs more for the same t.

MVI (multivitamin) and biotin: I would recommend one general multivitamin daily that contains vitamin D and a biotin vitamin supplement one daily.  Biotin deficiency has been associated with hair loss.  I f you are not vitamin deficient, it may not help

Hair loss: Hair loss may be genetic but it also occurs with thyroid disorders,medication side effects,autoimmune diseases,etc. It's best to have your physician evaluate you if your hair loss is significant. A dermatologist can also advise you as to what type of hair loss you have.

Hair loss: I have gone on-line to see if there is any link between penicillin tablets and hair loss. I could find nothing to suggest a link. In my opinion the best group to address your hair loss would be Dermatologists.

Zinc and vits: Zincovit is a very good start.  Be sure other diet intake is nutritent rich.  And be sure you dont have a disease that may influence hair health.  PCP or derm may be a good eval to have.

? Finpecia ?: If you mean "finpecia", it's the same Finasteride as the us product Propecia (finasteride) -- at least it probably is, since it's produced in india and is not approved for sale in the us.

If (and that's a big if) it is exactly the same as the us product, it has the same risks and benefits as propecia (finasteride). Ask your doc.

Yes if it is from it: It the hair loss is indeed related to the mini pill ( must be rare if at all present), then it should reverse after stopping the pill . However you may not see much result for a few months.

ALOPECIA: Alopecia or hair loss may be multifaceted . You need full lab work up especially Thyroid studies b12 and folate. If they are normal start high dose Biotin zinc B12 and folic acid. If there is no improvement you may need to consult dermatology for biopsy to rule out auto-immune ALOPECIA aerata.
