Yes, but: It's possible to have a disorder of structure, like nodules or goiter -- but the function is normal, at least for now.

Yes: you can have normal thyroid tests and have a colloid cyst --euthyroid.if you do have a mass in the thyroid region it needs to be checked by a dr.

Thyroid.: While your TSH looks fine, your free T4 maybe a tiny bit low on this one report. It would be worth repeating these two values along with the remainder of a full thyroid function panel. If you thyroid function numbers are normal, you may want to consider that your symptoms are due to something other than thyroid dysfunction.

Post op thyroid: Surgery for cancer the replacement thyroxine should be dosed sufficient to keep TSH low to avoid stimulating any tumor remnants. Most Endocrinologists advise suppressing tsh for about 5 years. Thyroglobulin levels and antibodies should also be measured. Your TSH level appears adequately suppressed. Yes: Total T4 reflects T4 bound to proteins in your blood. Free T4 measures the amount of T4 that is free and not bound so that it can be metabolically active. Thus women taking Estrogens (as in bc pills) have elevated levels of thyroid binding globulin and elevated total t4, but normal free t4.

Yes,,: These are technically "normal" values with fT4 normal range being 9-18 pmol/L while TSH is about 0.3-3.0 uIU/mL, though this last range can vary.  Best of luck.

T4: Different labs use different methods for measuring T4. Please check with your doctor whether this level of 12 is within normal range for the test or whether it is high. I suspect that the T4 at 12 is within range. Please let me know.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests.
